Monterey Hotel

Located right in the midst of downtown Monterey and within walking distance to restaurants, shops, night clubs and Fisherman's Wharf, the Monterey Hotel is a historic, European boutique style property. Originally built in 1904, the property has received many improvements over the years and stands as a fine example of historic downtown Monterey.

 

Guest rooms vary in size from fairly small (Petite Queen rooms) to spacious (Junior and Fireplace suites). All guest rooms feature hand-carved furnishings, ceiling fans, plantation shutters and some feature a fireplace and views of downtown Monterey.  Most rooms are done with a floral decor and all have a quaint, cozy and romantic feel. If you want to be where all of the action is and you like to go out at night and the convenience of walking to the wharf and Cannery Row, the Monterey Hotel is a great place to stay. Please note that the hotel does not have an elevator.

 

The room rate includes a deluxe, extended continental breakfast, turndown service, and wireless internet access. Parking is available by valet for $17 per night or you can self-park at one of the nearby garages (about 1 - 2 blocks away).
