Carmel Country Inn

Located in a quiet residential corner of Carmel (but walking distance to downtown), the Carmel Country Inn is a unique and beautiful 14 room inn with a variety of guest room units including oversized studio and one bedroom suites. Rooms are decorated with a luxurious, country style with down comforters, fireplaces, in-room jetted tubs (some rooms) and amenities you would expect at a larger hotel including refrigerators, DVD players, coffee makers and free wireless internet. Although this is considered an inn/bed and breakfast, the rooms are VERY spacious and offer a lot of privacy. Guest rooms have fine, solid wood furnishings, decorative bedding with matching valances and, all in all, the rooms are just put together wonderfully (not an inn where you are going to find a bunch of mismatched decor). After you stay here, you may be inspired to redecorate your bedroom when you get back home! There is a central living room (where you will meet up with their super friendly staff including their innkeeper, Amy) where breakfast (expanded continental)and evening cream sherry and cookies are served daily. This is also one of the most pet friendly places to stay on the Monterey Peninsula.
