White Swan Inn

Escape from the hustle and bustle of downtown San Francisco at the White Swan Inn. Located just up the hill from Union Square and on Nob Hill, the White Swan is a 26 room British style boutique hotel with a lot of charm. This is not a generic style hotel -- between the decor around the inn and the design in the rooms (hardwood flooring, handsome wood furnishings, rich fabrics), you will as if you have been transported to an English garden inn. The rooms are surprisingly large - -and the decor says romance without screaming it. Every guest room and suite also features a fireplace - a large, focal point hearth framed with a beautiful mantle. Even though there is an old world charm, guest rooms do include modern conveniences such as flat screen TV's with DVD players, refrigerators stocked with complimentary sodas and water, and luxuries including terry cloth bath robes. 

All guest enjoy a gourmet breakfast buffet (fresh baked bread) and evening wine and hors d'oeuvres served in their large downstairs by the fireplace - plenty of room to mix and mingle with other guests or spend some time alone.  There is even a large patio deck to enjoy your libations on a sunny day.
