San Luis Creek Lodge

     The San Luis Creek Lodge is a unique set of hotels within one hotel with 3 different, themed buildings offering luxurious accommodations and outstanding amenities for a romantic getaway. Built in 2003 and remodeled in 2008, it is one of the nicest and newest places to stay in the county - and the only place that does such a great job of appealing to such a wide range of tastes.

     "Londonberry" is an English tudor style inn with ivy climbing up the walls. Beautiful guest room doors open up to rooms with open wood beamed ceilings and a room decorated with luxurious and ornate bed covers, tapestries and embroidered footstools. Most of the rooms in this building have a large bay window and a fireplace (which is a focal point of the room surrounded by stone). These rooms are handsome and elegant at the same time with rich, warm colors.

     "Craftsman" is a building of more simple design and reminds us of something you might find in mountain areas such as Lake Tahoe. The design here is more simple - open beamed ceilings, big cozy mission-style arm chairs, and a color palette that harmonizes with nature. Paintings of local outdoor scenes adds to the charm. Overall, a real cozy, home away from home romantic feel to this building.

     "Plantation" looks just like that from the exterior - and is probably the last thing you would expect to find at the rear of the hotel. It has beautiful architecture (including tall columns, French Doors, and a large outdoor chandelier) that may remind you a bit of New Orleans. The guest rooms have more of a French provincial design with light, warm colors and special, slight decorative touches including original paintings.

     All guest rooms at the San Luis Creek Lodge feature flat screen 40 inch televisions with DirecTV, high speed internet access, DVD player (with complimentary rental library), luxury mattress set, micro/frig, coffee maker with Starbucks coffee, beautifully tiled bathrooms with dual sinks, and Aveda bath products. Some rooms also feature a large gas burning fireplaces (focal points of the room), bathrobes and the option of an in-room jetted tub. Everything is meticulously in its place. There are also little decorator touches such as decorative shades over their night lights. 

     Well known as one of the best values around, the room rate also includes a complimentary breakfast (features fresh baked breads and pastries, scrambled eggs, slow-cooked oatmeal, Starbuck's coffee, and more).
