Apple Farm Inn

You almost don't know what to expect until you actually enter the lobby of the Apple Farm Inn. Decorated with a Laura Ashley, Victorian charm, the beautiful and unique rooms at the inn are only the beginning of the story. It all starts with the staff - a very friendly bunch who really understand what the word "hospitality" means. After all, even the best laid plans for a romantic getaway can be ruined by a surely staff.

 

The inn itself is on a fairly busy street but tucked away in the back and surrounded by towering shade trees and pretty flowers. Upon taking our tour, we were told that every single room is different. Although they are all great for a romantic getaway, they were decorated with their own unique style. In fact, some people come back year after year to celebrate an anniversary and stay in a different room each time! This is a country style inn that has the amenities and charm of a bed and breakfast but the luxuries of a fine hotel.

 

All of their spacious guest rooms include a welcome basket (cider and chocolates), fireplace, two bathrobes, private bath (tub/shower) - and even a special gift to take home as a memento of your stay as well as a journal to write about your experiences while staying at the inn. One of the most incredible things is that they have a full time upholstery department - so the rooms stay in tip-top shape.

 

There are two rooms located in their Mill-House - each of these suites offers more space, more privacy and your own outdoor hot tub! For budget conscious travelers, they also feature their Trellis section of the hotel - rooms are still quite pretty - just a scaled down version of the rooms in the main hotel.

 

A continental breakfast is included (for a nominal extra charge, they can deliver "breakfast in bed" to your room with those gourmet goodies from their "full scratch" bakery). Also included are a complimentary wine and cheese reception as well as fresh baked cookies later in the evening. Friendly, friendly, friendly!

 

If you would like to enjoy a relaxing Central Coast afternoon, they do feature an outdoor heated pool and whirlpool next to the Mill House (you can hear the paddle wheel as it makes its turns).
